Moody Slough is the latest project of Winters musician Joseph Sanders, who is celebrating the release of his new EP, Material Eyes. Cutting his teeth in a few bands, notably EGG and Into the Zoo, Joey has demonstrated himself to be a seriously talented instrumentalist, and has grown into a passionate singer and songwriter. After participating in several larger music ensembles, Sanders appreciates more and more the sound of an acoustic guitar and a voice, and the simplicity it brings while writing a song.
As Joey says, “There is something to be said about music…making people feel a little less alone. Music has always been there to make me feel good…Moody Slough strives to return the favor.”
Opening for Moody Slough is regional favorite, The Polyorchids, comprised of artists Justin Cox, Travis Cox, and Tony Clark. The Polyorchids play a fast and loose mix of indie punk & folk music, with great energy and tight harmonies.
