We’re excited to welcome DonGato Latin Band to The Palms! The Sacramento-based quintet plays vibrant Cuban music in the style of the Buena Vista Social Club – salsa, cha cha cha, and Cuban son, along with some Top 40 classics with a Latin beat. Songs like “Besame Mucho,” “Sway,” “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps,” “Hotel California,” and many more come alive with the powerful vocals of Barbara Kelbo, and the musical talents of Orlando Ramos (keys), Eddie Vidales (percussion), Carlos McCoy (saxophone and flute), and Hugo Ochoa (bass).
The band dresses in guayaveras (traditional Cuban/Puerto Rican shirts) and Panama hats, and truly fit the image of a classic Cuban salsa band: they are seasoned musicians whose solid rhythms and lively melodies inspire audiences to get up and dance.
The dance floor will, of course, be open for this show!
